When I visited the States in 2004, I was amused by how, (perhaps riding the tails of the Lord of the Rings trilogy), posters for Tourism New Zealand's 100% Pure New Zealand were proudly posted on every bus shelter in Manhattan.
Now, taken from this week's instalment of the The Gruen Transfer, is this campaign developed by the show's guests to fill a brief presenting an invasion of New Zealand as an attractive alternative to the war in Iraq.

This has been floating around the emails in NZ all week. Watching the latesst ep. of Gruen Transfer it's funny that the panel preferred the 'day off' pitch rather than the "100%" campaign.
